Overview

The Skylink Jumbo GPS Synchronized Wall Clock locks to satellite time through its supplied antenna, so every clock in your facility shows exactly the same second — without LAN, internet or manual correction. Its internal RTC keeps the clock running smoothly between updates and through temporary loss of signal.

The 6-digit HH:MM:SS display is available with 4″ (100 mm), 6″ (150 mm) or 8″ (200 mm) digits in red, green, blue, orange or white. Brightness, 12/24-hour mode and Local Time/GMT are selectable, and the slim powder-coated metal frame suits factories, hospitals, airports, railways and control rooms alike.

Installation

Mount the clock on the wall and route the GPS antenna cable to a window or external location with a clear view of the sky — this is the single most important factor for a quick, reliable GPS lock. Keep the antenna cable away from heavy power cables.

Connect the supplied adapter (110–230 V AC). After power-up the clock acquires satellite time automatically; the first lock can take a few minutes depending on sky visibility. See our knowledge base article on GPS antenna placement for more tips.

Does a GPS clock need internet or LAN?

No. Time comes from navigation satellites through the supplied antenna, so no network connection is required.

Where should the GPS antenna be placed?

Near a window or outside, with as much open sky as possible. Avoid metal enclosures and keep the cable away from heavy power wiring.

What happens if the GPS signal is lost?

The clock continues on its internal RTC and re-synchronises automatically when the signal returns.

Which digit height should I choose?

As a practical guide: 4" up to about 25 m, 6" up to about 40 m and 8" up to about 60 m viewing distance.

Can I install many GPS clocks in one building?

Yes. Each clock locks to the same satellite time, so all clocks agree. For very large sites, ask us about master-slave and network systems.
