A GPS clock is only as good as its view of the sky. These tips help you get a fast, reliable satellite lock.
- Place the antenna near a window — ideally one facing open sky — or outside on a wall or roof.
- Avoid metal enclosures, metallised window film and deep interior rooms.
- Keep the antenna cable away from heavy power cables and motors.
- Do not cut or crimp the antenna cable; ask us if you need a longer cable run.
- After power-up, allow a few minutes for the first lock. Subsequent synchronisation is automatic.
Still not locking? Raise a support request with your model number and a photo of the antenna location.
